Some recent pictures

So, here are some recent pictures of me and of Baby Penrose. This is me at 18 weeks. I told you all I was getting bigger. Just the difference between weeks 15 and week 18 is remarkable!

Here is a picture of the baby at 18 weeks. This is one of the better pictures - you can actually see his little spine, hand, and foot.

This picture is hard to see, but he's giving us a "thumbs up". This picture was also taken about the time the DR said it was a boy :).

Exciting News!

So, I just found out that my brother and his wife are also having a baby - due Nov 19th!! YEAH!!! I'm so excited. It will be fun, he and I having babies that are two months apart in age. I just hate that we all live so far apart, so our kids will only see each other at holidays. But, oh well. This will be fun!

So, the race is on. Who will have a boy and who will have a girl....or will we both have the same thing? At least we'll know in another day or so. He still has to wait a few more weeks.

But, yeah!! I don't know how our poor parents are going to make it, having 2 grandchildren born 2 months apart. I guess it will be a big Christmas this year!! :) Needless to say, for our families, this fall is turning out to be quite interesting and amazing. Who could ask for anything more than having 2 new healthy babies born into the family. On second thought, make that 3 - since my cousin Katie is expecting a girl to be born 2 weeks before Baby Penrose.

Only time will tell.....how many more babies does the Goldman clan expect to have born this year. It's all a question on our minds, since I have MANY cousins on this side of the family. It's anyone's guess who will be pregnant next. First Katie, then me, then Rebecca, who's next.....

Baby Penrose 15.5 weeks

Hey everyone, so we've gotten pretty lazy about updating this blog. Here's a picture of me, about 2 weeks ago, when I was almost 16 weeks pregnant. As you can imagine, I'm even bigger now :). Oh well.


We go this week to determine what we are having. So, if the baby cooperates, on Thursday, we'll know if we're having a boy or girl!! So, we're pretty excited about that and plan to start picking out names soon after.

Everything is still going well. I'm getting my energy back and can now actually stay up past 8:00pm, so Tim is happy about that. We went last weekend to look at baby furniture. Now, that was interesting. We had no idea what we needed or how much this stuff would cost!! WOW! But, thankfully most of the furniture is "expandable" to last the child for years to come. So, the investment is not a waste.

Just wanted to say hello and send the pic. We'll let you know as soon as we do if we're expecting a little Tim or a little Brandie. Until then....
