What Trees Are These?

So, these trees are all over our subdivision, and I have no idea what they are. But, they are quite pretty, so I'm curious if anyone knows what they are?? For all I know, they are the same tree, but I don't think so.

This first one is slightly pinkish white in color, and the tree is usually shorter than this one in the picture. Anyway, here it is.

This second one is not a good picture. Usually this tree is completely white, but this one is only partially white for now. Anyway, ideas anyone??

Interesting....

This is a pic of little baby Penrose at 8 weeks. Surprise!! We are very excited and are due September 20th. We've been to 2 doctor appointments and have received good reports at both!! We even got to hear the heartbeat this past week at 12 weeks - around 150 beats per minute. I told Tim I think it's a girl because of the heartbeat. But, we'll see. We've got a running bet right now about what the child will be, but either way, we will be as happy as can be.

We've had all of our families visit over the past few weeks, so we've finally been able to tell most people. So, now, we are able to make it public on the blog.

So, we apologize that we haven't written anything in a while. About the only thing we've been talking/thinking about is the baby recently, so we could not think of anything to post except about baby stuff. And, since we could not tell everyone yet until telling our families, we just decided to hold off on any new postings.

So far so good - I haven't been sick or anything. Mainly, I have just been having food aversions more than food cravings. I've been on a anti-Mexican and anti-Italian kick basically for about 2 months now. Just the smell makes me nauseous. But, I've been very thankful that it hasn't been worse. I'm looking forward to the next few weeks when I enter into the 2nd trimester. Supposedly, there is this HUGE burst of energy that comes with the 2nd trimester. THAT, I am ready for. You can ask Tim; I've been a zombie these past few weeks. I basically go to bed around 8:00pm and barely wake up by 6:00am for work :).

We just can't wait to find out the sex of the baby. We should find out in May, so we must wait a little while longer. So many of our friends are having babies right now that it's been exciting just to find out what they are having.

I am already showing at 3 months, so I can only imagine how huge I'm going to get. I'm beginning to get a little worried. But, I've just been SO hungry this 1st trimester. And, unfortunetly, the things that I felt like eating weren't the most healthy - cereal, potatoes, any carbs or starches, etc. And, LOTS of fruit - at least that part has been good. Oh well :).

We hope to catch up with everyone soon, and until then, my belly will be growing at a rapid pace. Fun times!
